“I’ve been listening since mid-July, when I had some pretty epic professional and family life events. This podcast has been transformational for my life, not only professionally but also personally. I can’t say I’ve implemented all the advice - I can’t even remember it all at this point! - but I get a nudge from every episode that tweaks my preconceived notions of reality, especially when it comes to neuroscience, psychology, and counseling. Don’t be afraid, though, this isn’t a technically dense conversation. These gentlemen are looking at real-life situations with what I perceive to be a very fresh take.
My one misgiving is the applicability of this advice to people in certain life situations: people with very young children (will be frustrated by the episodes on sleep), stay-at-home-parents and homeschooling families might struggle to find some of the counseling wholly applicable, but that could be a veiled challenge waiting to be discovered by what is certainly a very small portion of the population (even if I belong to this population).
