Well produced, broad-ranging science podcast
Thoroughly enjoyed the 2016 season of Science Weekly podcasts. The series on "Big Unknowns" was particularly fascinating, especially for topics which are largely theoretical in nature. Personal favourite of the year had to be "The Rise and fall of Concorde and supersonic passenger flight" as it really highlighted the way that cutting edge design and technology will not necessarily be embraced if there is a more economical alternative. It seems there is a new lead presenter. She is not as articulate as Ian, and doesn't command the same attention. What is the purpose? An exercise in equality? Irrespective, on merit alone, the change has reduced the quality of the podcast.Read full review »

I enjoy listening to this on my commute to work. It has in-depth coverage of science news. Just a plea to the editor not to use background music too much when people are speaking.
