Truly, a show worthy of your time.
The tone is spot-on, not feeling the need to talk down to their audience and yet remaining very accessible. They go into some topics at considerable length considering the 40 minute format of the show, with the Science Extra interviews with notable scientific luminaries being a particular highlight. The ever-likable crew headed up by the enigmatic Alok Jha are one of the reasons the show succeeds in it's intent. They all genuinely sound like they're enjoying themselves whilst still managing to sound suitably credible and well informed on the topics at hand. If you, like I, have an interest in what's happening on the edge of scientific study right now but don't have as much time as you'd like to find out, subscribe now.
