Top of my list
Duncan's presentation is clear, succint and un-laboured. He strikes an engaging balance and tone, augmented by his (all too infrequent) dry wit. Recordings are clean and the general sound quality great. Like a great read, I look forward to each new episode and live in fear of the last chapter. If like me you've had only limited exposure to ancient history but your interest has been piqued by the rhyming history of ancient and contemporary empires, look no further.
