Informative and Entertaining
I don't know how he packs so much information into such short podcasts, but Mike Duncan does a fantastic job here. Don't let the calm tone fool you, he keeps it interesting and you move through the centuries at blinding speed. I feel so much more informed now when I hear references to Rome and Roman history. If Mike could somehow do this for Greek history he should be given a medal. (Sorry for any typos and spelling errors)Read full review »

Mike Duncan's history of Rome is a good introduction to Roman history told in an accessible, anecdotal manner. Duncan does a good job of blending the mythological with the historical.
