Good until “God and Christ” episode...
I really enjoy hearing about the history but not your “theology”. Even after admitting the theory of the “trinity” didn’t come along until after the apostles death or exile, the narrator clearly guided the listener to believe the “theology of the trinity” Clearly influenced by Greek “believers” the trinity comes from their mythology. Ironically the same forces that eventually led to Christ death... off topic. It’s not the “early” church, but can we hear about Michael Servetus?

Very informative and well researched!! (If you’re worried about the lip smacking, it stops after episode 12!)

Great podcast. Well researched, balanced, detailed and well narrated. I have been fan of both History of Rome and Byzantium podcasts. With many historical accounts this podcast brings early Church to life showing equally well individual and institutional aspects as well as political context. ...Read full review »

I’m a doctoral candidate in the history of this period and I am always in awe of this podcaster’s smart, nuanced, and up-to-date content. This could be a textbook for early Church history when it’s finished!
