Pros/Cons
Pros: - the flow is like you’re talking with friends, it’s not supposed to be taken seriously. There are other podcasts you can go to for that. - I love the times they are vulnerable and share their experiences, especially Todd. - I absolutely adore their side conversations that derail talking about the movie because that’s what makes it a relaxed conversation and it provides a break from talking about dark things. (Sometimes dark) - Mikey and Todd. Their relationship is what makes this show. It gives me the break I need from reality. - Paige’s research on the movies Cons: - I hate saying this but Paige can be incredibly pretentious. She has the personality type where she is intelligent but always has to be right. I’ve listened to this podcast since the beginning and as much as I love the update with Paige from the other woman that abruptly left, I sometimes have to take a break from listening. There was an episode where Todd was correct on something but she kept arguing for a good length of time to the point even I felt awkward listening. - I wish Mikey was given more time to bring in psychological aspects to these movies. It’s fascinating to listen to him break things down.

This podcast was good overall and I enjoyed it but then they started inviting that Michael on the podcast and it became great. Also Todd and Jenn are nice.

I love reading horror novels and reading the synopsis to horror movies, but I cannot handle actually watching most of the films because it’s typically way too intense for me to sit through. This podcast blends those aspects perfectly. I love hearing Todd’s reactions as the crew describes the plot...Read full review »
