“I generally really enjoy your podcast but I think your imperfect chat about men really missed the mark.
It’s not time for men to “be aware of how women are feeling”. That ship has long sailed. Now is the time to call out men’s behaviour. Don’t tolerate degrading words or actions. If a man is made to feel shame about his words or actions, that is the first step in them potentially changing their ways.
Ryan mentioned the story at the hardware store, why not correct the sales assistant and say “address my partner, this is her purchase”. Make changes or nothing will change. Frustrating from a woman’s perspective.”
