nice and weird Canadian arts & culture podcast
I have to admit that I was a bit put off by the format at first, because it's pretty different from the other, more serious Canadaland shows. But once I got into it I really like it now. Even if it's artists I'm not interested in, the interviews are genuine and listenable. And as a queer person it's nice to have a host who gets that side of things, rare in Canadian media IMO. I think there is a bit of room to improve in some of the quality or guest bits which are occasionally uneven, a few have felt like someone was reading from a blog post they wrote. Overall, good, keep it up!Read full review »

l love this show. The host is super smart and real and the guests are not the ones cycling through all the other shows and magazines. If you want edgy and under-the-radar, check out Canadaland's 'The Imposter'.

Jesse Brown's podcasts have been uneven since the beginning but The Imposter almost feels like a parody of CBC's Q, only without the humour and Charisma of Shad's interview style. Maybe it's time for Jian's comeback Jesse.Read full review »
