Canned laughter is pretty weird for a podcast
I started listening to this in 2020 and it’s just my kind of thing, but I guess they replaced a radio 4 studio audience with REALLY enthusiastic canned laughter and applause and it has honestly got on my nerves - I know it predates podcasting but it sounds like all the podcast-first shows I like, except those podcasters would be considered insane for adding canned laughter. I’m going to take a break from it until they have a human audience again or at least ditch the very loud fake stuff.

The Kitchen Cabinet makes me very happy! I said this spontaneously out loud this morning much to my husband’s amusement. I’ve learnt so many things and always enjoy the enthusiasm of the panel. Thanks everyone!

I love this podcast and the content is always so useful for inventive cooks. My main criticism is the heavy handed audio mix of the virtual audience... it’s SO annoying and frequently impedes hearing what the panel have to say. It needs a bit of finesse....
