“This podcast makes my heart so happy! I am French living in the States. And when I saw this I was very skeptical "once again, America wants to tell me how French history is so messed up". Little did I know...Land of desires is so funny and very well written. It is so interesting and just addictive! I knew some of the stories, little memories from high school, but the angle the author choose is always very different from a "normal" history lesson. I am thinking at the Dreyfus affair for exemple, I studied it every year since middle school, and still, I learned so many things in the podcast ! I couldn't speak higher from this podcast and I hope it will last forever, I'm addicted!”Read full review »
