Brian Barnett claims to be recovered from Borderline Personality Disorder. He most definitely is not. I’m terribly disappointed in his podcasts as well as his highly toxic private Facebook group. If you don’t agree with Mr. Barnett, he deletes your comments and blasts you on his podcasts. Some members in the group even targeted me for disagreeing with the methods taught in what is now referred to as an “educational group”, but when I discovered it, it was touted as a mental health support group. Do not trust this man and his methods. He’s got a cult-like following of women and an unhealthy obsession with sex. He uses shock methods to trigger individuals and then calls them out for having feelings, claiming “there are no such things as triggers”, blaming others for their “misinterpretation of events”, gaslighting anyone who questions his unethical methods, and demonizing women. Proceed with caution: Brian Barnett is a very ill man with very real problems. If you truly want help, purchase workbooks on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and find a good therapist. There is hope for healing, but you won’t find it here.

I started listening...Read full review »
