Period.
To anyone new here, this man saved my life. After almost two and a half years of listening to every single episode he has posted (and oftentimes multiple times), listening to his full fundamentals course multiple times, chewing on things and mulling over things constantly like Brian has talked about doing, and coming at this all with complete humility and genuineness (like the completely broken heart it talks about in Scriptures), I stand before you today a very, very different person from who I once was. I was living in excruciating pain for decades, and had no idea there was another way to live. I still have a ways to go and more to learn, and I will do so humbly and with conviction in my heart. Whether you believe in a Higher Power or not, this man is doing the Lord's work. Oh, and for all those negative reviews I see here that are so obviously (mainly) from those in the "professional" community - please look inward and ask yourself how many people in debilitating pain have you genuinely cured or single-handedly brought to a point that they are living with real contentment and happiness? Especially with no medication or absolutely anything else. Really pause and think on that. Answer it honestly with yourself. (Oh, and if higher education is a qualifier you require to value someone's opinion, I say this as a PhD Mathematician from a top 20 university. If you're honest with yourself, you know as well as I do that our universities don't have anything remotely close to all the answers.) After you’ve paused and thought on the question above, I will say: the proof is in the pudding and there are many of us here who have had *real* changes in our lives and all for the better. People who used to be in excruciating pain and no longer are. How do you say to a person like that who can breathe for the first time after a life of such horrible pain that essentially what they are saying isn't real? That their words have no value? Essentially that they're making it up? *That* is gaslighting. The old me would very much say it's like a slap in the face because it feels like you are not hearing us and are totally disregarding our feelings and experiences, our very real feelings and experiences. The irony is that - luckily for me, because of all the life-changing help I've had from The Last Symptom, I can look at your comments and feel disappointed, but it has no pull over my feelings like it once would have. Again, the irony. Again, the proof is in the pudding.Read full review »

More reviews of The Last Symptom
The first few episodes are worth listening to, but mid-season 1 until at least season 3 he contradicts himself numerous times and the ‘show’ becomes more about himself and promoting his paid ‘classes’ than about presenting relevant information/stories about emotional health. Examples: He says...Read full review »
