I love the background info on the travel destinations and just all around great! I also highly recommend her other podcast “Strictly Stalking” both of these podcasts are interesting niches that needed attention. Btw..who did your awesome cover art? Perfect for this podcast!

I’m enjoying the content. Very different twist on true crime.

Best podcast I’ve found in a long time. Professional, knowledgeable this host is fantastic. Her research must be mind boggling. My new #1 podcast to look forward to. Thank you !

I am enjoying this podcast and stories of the individuals it maybe could use less of the travel guide thing but maybe people like that. I do like when she talks about her own funny learning experiences or maybe someone else’s crazy experience in that location where she may have not taken her own...Read full review »

Look, I get it, we all have preferences in our listening choices. If you don’t like someone’s voice, then just move on. There’s no reason to leave a bad review about that. What do you think she can do about that? As a podcast host myself, I hear all the different avenues and all the different...Read full review »

Super avid true crime listener here:) I have been wanting this type podcast forever, and now that I started, I can’t stop! thank you Jaimie! I love the simplicity and directness with which each episode is delivered. No fluff here, and she does such an amazing job of transporting the listener to...Read full review »

I like how she gives you a picture of the place before we get to the crimes! Very interesting stuff. Haven’t heard one like this before. Listening to this before I travel.
Poddy McDowall via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/16/24
Unfortunately you talk too much about the environment instead of the actual case, which is very boring
Hasentaler via Apple Podcasts · Germany · 05/09/24
I wanted to like it because the idea sounds awesome. But the delivery of the content is horrible. It seems like someone wrote a term paper and then read it out loud. The voice is also a bit much for me.

You got helpful tips, good destinations and cases. What’s not to like

Is this a high school student reading a book report? This a great concept for a true crime podcast, but the execution of it is terrible.
jwilks7477 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/19/24
Makes me want to travel more!!! Although these are pretty much horror stories the way they are told is perfection. Well done 👏🏻

I look forward to this podcast every week. The travel information is interesting as is the last trip story. I think it has steadily improved since its inception. It would be nice if there were fewer commercials.

I wanted to love this, but I don’t even like it. Maybe it is the fact that the creator is basically an influencer, or maybe it just isn’t well done. Either way, it isn’t for me.
jscharenbroch via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/05/24
I travel pretty regularly throughout the year alone and often searched haunted areas to visit when I reach different destinations. But this podcast has me internet sleuthing for real people that experienced real situations. If you like the show White Lotus, this pod has similar vibes.

Great concept. Awful execution. Host and guests with narrow world views and limited experiences. Lack of understanding of other cultures and norms. Don’t waste your time

I love how you added more information about travel to the specific area from someone local at the beginning of the episode! It gives such a better insight to the area and also gives a realistic perspective of the area instead of letting listeners get scared off by the tragic cases that get...Read full review »

I am so glad I gave this podcast a listen. It is so informative, the host includes some of her own personal travelling experiences, while telling a true crime story. I also really enjoy how Jaimie lists the ways to stay safe while travelling, at the end of each episode (I’ve actually only been...Read full review »

I love the idea behind this show, it’s such a unique concept for true crime stories. That being said, that’s pretty much where the positives stop. I’m not exaggerating when I say they could not have found a worse host to present this material. It sounds like a middle school book report, which the...Read full review »

The flow feels off, there are some quirky bits that are quite fun but executed strangely. I love this idea of melding true crime and travel but the format leaves me frustrated and confused and feeling like I’m jumping between and travel podcast and true crime podcast. A nun would not commit suicide for religious reasons, but is a good option for starting a new life because being Catholic is so bad? Bad/cheap sound quality. Do you want the experience of being talked to like you’re a 13 year old girl by another 13 year old girl reading a Wikipedia article at you? Then this podcast is for you. “OMG you guyyyyyzz. That’s, like, so creepy.” It’s beyond grating.

Donning her investigative journalist’s hat, Jaimie Beebe not only sets the scene in The Last Trip, but raises serious questions in a well researched podcast on Britt Lapthorne, a young Australian backpacker who went missing in 2008. Her murder leaves a wake of possible suspects linked to tourist...Read full review »

I just listened to Jaime Bebee’s podcast The Last Trip, Ep 6: Jennifer Michelle Lorber. Why that episode? Because I have a client who lives in Malibu, and that story literally hits close to home. I have always loved listening to Jamie Bebee on Striking Stalking so know I would enjoy this podcast. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the podcast is. I love how she gives specifics on the area and how to stay safe in the area.

No
This sounds like high school presentations done by someone who is reading directly off of their PowerPoint slide.

Pretty good podcast, I enjoy it. If they eliminated the first 10 minutes of “intro” it would be much better…for now I just fast forward.

The episodes sound more like an obituary or biography being read out - no suspense or gripping narrative, had high expectations after enjoying Strictly Stalking!
rice89 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/06/24
This is so ridiculously speculative…no talking to first hand witnesses or even visiting the country. Reading Reddit theories and YouTube comments isn’t research. Fun I guess? But THIN!

There are a lot of juxtaposing moods going on. A lot of research went into this. Some dark subjects of course and really fun and interesting.

Meh
Was excited to listen to the show but it feels very amateur. She does the research, but the way she presents it all is choppy and weird. The intro music and everything just feels out of place. I’m sure these are important stories, and I was willing to listen to them, but the narration is read, not fluidly, as if it were a high school presentation. I was excited to hear the first episode and immediately put off by the “whimsical” intro. These are real people who have often passed away, and their families remain in anguish. Very disappointed at the presentation.

Not terrible, but not for me. I thought it was an interesting theme, but the execution was not my cup of tea.
