Cheeky Monkeys
I was thrown out of cheeky monkeys in 2008 when I was backpacking. I’d had 1 beer, had just bought my second and was just stood chatting - there was no pre drinking this night either. (I remember because I was hungover and struggling to get back on the ales) A youngish bouncer sort of hovered past as if he was making his mind up on who to talk to then said he wanted to speak to me outside, as I left the front he told me I’d had enough for that night. I think they do it to let more people in and keep the queue down - I leaned that the kicking out policy was known back then, it was indiscriminate and it was always lads unless a girl got visibly very drunk. People getting randomly kicked out was a known thing so I just wanted to mention this as it could happen to the quietest of guys - it is not a reflection on behaviour beforehand.

Someone will.. must know something to help, even if just putting pieces together. Just so young it is heartbreaking. Well done with producing a current and relevant podcast. Although tragic, your presentation keeps this investigation incredibly interesting and importantly alive.

The best podcast I’ve heard by far. Production is excellent. Respectful to Theo and his family and informative. Byron Bay community rock!
