“I listen to a lot of genre fiction podcasts and Metamor City stands as one of the all time best. Chris Lester's vibrant story telling grabs you and doesn't let go until he's done with you! The character depth and rich scenery is nothing short of stunning. As a warning up front- the show is a bit racy and not for children or people that are offended by sexuality, demonology, and several other ology's. This isn't to say that there is anything gratuitous or obscene about these stories. Just the opposite. They are studied, thoughtful, and masterfully told tales in a world where inhabitants act (and act out) just as you would logically expect them. Metamor elicits fascinating reflection on societal and religious structures; politics; and personal relationships. If you have even a passing interest in urban fantasy -- or even if you don't know what that is -- you owe yourself a listen to the first few episodes.
