“It would be good if the narrator did a little basic research before reading and publishing such a classic English short ghost story as The Mezzotint. £2/2/- is not 'Twenty-Two Pounds' (04.30) - neither is the added word 'Sterling' in the story. As the narrator later discovers, the asking price of the mezzotint is 'Two Guineas', which is of course, Two Pounds Two Shillings, or £2/2/-.
