Concerns over advertising choice

“Hello, I’d like to start off by saying I believe the
content of this podcast is of great importance. I personally have taken away
many good things from each episode I listen to. However, I feel compelled to write this review due to my concerns over the choice of advertising in recent episodes. I find it very strange that a podcast that promotes the importance of mental health would interrupt the programming with advertisements speaking of massacres, murder mysteries and fear mongering over how to protect your money. The commercials are straight garbage for the psyche.
I personally have survived serious trauma and each time one of these violent commercials comes on I have to turn down the volume until I think it might be over. The content of the commercials seems to be in great contrast with the values the show claims to uphold. As a listener I would like to see this corrected. Please note this is the only reason I have chosen 3 stars instead of 5.”
