outstanding series
I found TOS only in about 2013, but have gorged myself on almost all of Bob's podcasts since then, most two or three times. I have found Bob and his 'team' of contributors (rose, Andy etc.) very engaging and interesting. Bob in particular, has a very genuine, personable 'vibe' and I find him very enjoyable to listen to. He comes across as honest and keen to help and share which I appreciate as someone who has done a little, and wants to do more wildcamping up here in Scotland. The occisional support team have a different viewpoints and attitudes which provide some variety across shows. I think like most folk I find the (no doubt difficult to produce and edit) episodes made during actual walks to be the most fun. There always end up being a wide variety of topics chewed over by Bob and friends, and the interspersed commentary and clips from the field all help make you take you to the hills, mountains and woods. I think the effort that goes into these podcasts shold be applauded by all who enjoy the outdoors. Bravo Bob, and thank you for hours of fun, informative audio (and video; e.g. TGOC 2015, parts 1-9) episodes!!Read full review »
