Funny, sad, brilliant.

It took me several attempts to get into this. Finally pushed through and just relaxed and listened instead of my usual if listening while working, and it finally clicked. It is definitely a bit rough but there is a worthy story here, but be prepared for a different story telling approach. It is...Read full review »

I had been plowing through audio dramas (and loving it) and then I listened to Pasithea Powder two months ago and became unable to think about anything else. No other show I tried to listen to held my attention because I was still thinking about Captain Sophie Green and Dr. Jane Gonzalez. So I...Read full review »

This is one of my top 5 favorite podcasts of all time. It’s right up there with Wolf 359 and Ars Paradoxica! Love it so much!

Excellent world building, interesting premise, and intriguingly flawed (and also queer!!) characters. This is a great listen and the story and characters kept me excited to listen to each episode!

This show is just so well-crafted in balancing the flow of tension and release between really smart world-building and deeply compelling personal and interpersonal drama. The way the characters cannot help how emotionally invested they are in one another while working to square their ideological...Read full review »

I’ve been struggling to find a good podcast to get hooked on for a while now, and I’m pleased to say that The Pasithea Powder did the trick!!! I can’t stop listening to it, the main characters have such great chemistry and the plot is so so interesting!!

this show is absolutely incredible and hooked me right from the start. i love how natural and realistic each character is and that the writers use the depth of sophie and jane’s relationship to make the listener have to piece together information about them that they don’t give you because of...Read full review »

Intrigue, future space travels, moral quandary’s and two estranged friends who ended up in opposite positions at the end of a war. What else could you want?

What drives this podcast is the natural rapport between the two leads, who are also the creators. It has fantastically fun energy, and I love how the story is slowly peeled back through dialogue snippets, rather than being traditionally linear. I also appreciate the diverse and inclusive...Read full review »

Fast-talking post-war voicemails sent between lifelong friends that sail unapologetically past the audience. The closer you’ll listen, the more things start to add up & the higher the stakes go. Mostly monologues. Lots of rough futuristic war stuff is discussed, including mind control drugs.

I started this show as my "I only listen to this during workouts" podcast to give me a little extra motivation to work out, and boy has this scheme been successful! The only problem is that I can't just binge the whole thing. (I wanna know what happens next!!!) A gripping story of...Read full review »

It’s a bit rough around the edges in terms of audio recording, but the writing for the characters is pretty darn good and the two leads have charisma. Definitely a show that I’m rooting for.

If you’re looking for a podcast to listen to, or if you have a soft spot for radio drama or audio books, or you just like gorgeous writing and a twisty plot, then I can not recommend The Pasithea Powder enough. It’s a stylish, engaging story about the trauma and mythmaking that happen after a...Read full review »

This is such a great show. The two main characters are so well written and performed they already feel like fully rounded people with flaws, foibles and great backstories. The script takes us through comedy, poignancy and intrigue all told through these two characters. If you're a fan of...Read full review »

I meant to save this for an upcoming long drive, but after the teasers I couldn't wait, & now I'm on the edge of my seat to learn what will happen next. Who knew you could tell such an intriguiing story through the cutting-edge medium of voicemail? Loving it! (Plus, the foley...Read full review »
