“I'm an old guy who came to climbing late in life, so it's easy to get discouraged watching 12 year-olds crushing my projects as their warmups! Kris, Nate, and the gang do a great job of bringing real life training concepts into a n arena that can actually help everyone-including the old guy at the gym. Solid information backed up by real-life experience is what sets this apart from many of the others. Yes, it's cool to hear someone talk about their year-long projects in other podcasts, and there is plenty to learn from that. But it is so far away from my reality that I miss alot of that wisdom. Kris and Nate manage to bring in these monsters in the field, and kick out knowledge that I can directly and immediately apply. I find myself listening to these over and over, with pen and notepad in hand-they're really that solid! “Some real gems in this thing, but it could be improved. I love the utalitarian feel / focus of the show but Kris' rambling is sometimes insufferable and distracting.
