Challenged to Grow
Some episodes in the beginning of the series have trouble with some sound balances, but it is definitely worth it to listen in. (The sound quality gets better further in the series anyway...it's worth it to chug through the beginning with patience for their learning process.) Ian and Suzanne have repeatedly emphasized that while we cannot change the lens through which we see the world, we can change how we respond to what we see. I also appreciate their focus on the reality that the best part of you is also the worst part of you if not surrendered and harnessed for the Lord's work. I have been challenged and encouraged through their dialogues with people from all different walks of life to understand better about how I see, respond, and react, what's good about the way I operate, and what can be worked on in surrender to the Lord. Additionally, I have found myself more open and challenged to have more patience with others, in an awareness that they may not see life the way I do, and that doesn't make them better or worse than me. By hosting a variety of characters with different callings, professions, religious views, and histories than mine own, this podcast has taught me that I can learn something from everyone, regardless of our differences, and to embrace those differences with an open mind and an open heart. Suzanne & Ian's humble approach to sharing their knowledge is gentle and refreshing. However, their wisdom in what they know is firm and truth-telling. I appreciate their humility in answering the Lord's call to share with us the tool of the Enneagram. They do it in a way that challenges the listener to not allow remain comfortable with the worst parts of his/her personality, but instead to apply self-knowledge, grace and hope in moving forward.Read full review »

She says the same things over and over—I’m adopted, married to a priest, from Texas—WE GOT IT :) the main thing I just can’t handle...Read full review »

I agree with other reviewers who have said that this podcast could use some editing. I like each of the hosts; in particular, I have heard Suzanne Stabile on other podcasts and recordings and have enjoyed her teachings. However, this podcast is seriously lacking in direction, information, and...Read full review »
