“...the actual podcast was over and then I felt like it went downhill fast.
I feel like the first several episodes were good opinions that were well executed with clarity and a nice blend of different and obvious opinions. It was good to hear their explanations and their ideas and such. They also were very clear about understanding that this was not just investigative reporting, it was a investigative project for Sarah K, and her journey.
And yet, the episode after the Rabia episode, they attack Serial for being exactly what they already said it was! They were upset that there was so much of Sarah in the episodes of Serial, and I think that's ridiculous because she was just doing her own reporting journey and essentially recording it.
They also get a bit cyclical in their arguments, hammering the same parts over and over. Example being that they were upset about some of these details that Sarah really harped on but then they keep asking why she didn't harp on some detail they personally thought was more important.
