“Shin begins his next great challenge. The podcasts bring in very relevant guests from all over the NGO world. Shin does a great job bringing in guests that accomplish different tasks in their respective regions: from land mine removal to re-forestation to millienal conferences, he covers all different areas.
One thing that I think would help draw the listeners in more is if you could give slightly more background information on what your guest has accomplished before bringing them in, that way when they give advice or you ask a tough question, we know what their qualifications are to answer such a question. As I continued to listen to them, you started to do that more and more, so maybe it was something you caught on to as well.
Also as the podcasts progress, you did become more natural with the flowing of your questions. In the beginning, you seemed to transition from a personal topic to a work topic and back, without giving much of a warning.
Shin does a great job making sure the show is about his guest! He could sit there and talk about his own story for a while, but he doesn't keeping the focus on who the focus belongs his guests. However, a few more personal anecdotes I think would be a good thing. It would allow listeners to have some insight on his past accomplishments.
Overall, a very interesting listen. I listened to them when I was driving, waiting in airports, and riding the subway, all a good time to learn more about what makes NGOs tick!”
