When visiting NY
My Son, who has been living in NY for nearly nine years now, and himself a Bartender, introduced me through his roommate Blake Walker, who is working the Bar@ Amor Y Amargo on the lower East side! So one night last December I went with Danny, and was amazed how a little place like that can create such an electrifying atmosphere! So when I visited again a couple of days later, by myself, I was treated like a VIP! Given I'm 65(not that this is ever an issue to me), it feels nice to feel welcome! I have been back last May, when I briefly met Sother, and could tell that he was not just an intelligent business man, but a gentleman. I cannot wait to visit the new place in Brooklyn come December! I may not be able to get to NYC anytime soon but it’s nice to hear what some of my unofficial mentors have to say about the industry and culture. Stay safe all! #kitmewithyourbestshot
