“Look, I really love the concept of the Sporkful--talking about food is one of my favorite things, especially talking about it in a non-foodie way. The podcast started out great and has lately just become Mark and Dan laughing at their own jokes and thinking they're the funniest guys out there. Don't get me wrong, they're funny, but they're not *that* funny. They also tend to talk in these weird, unjustified ultimatums: "this is the best way to eat something and any other way of eating this thing is wrong." The special guests don't typically add a lot (Rachel Maddow is the exception, though that woman can also do no wrong). Maybe it's just me, but I've got better things to do for 15-20 minutes each week.”Read full review »
