First time someone really knew what I was going through
I’ve been searching for the answer to why I over eat for 40 years. I turned 50 this year and thought I am going to dedicate time and energy into myself to understand why I do it. I always thought it was tied to some deep routed trauma and I could not pin any deep trauma I had experienced. Listing to Kirsten was like listening to someone who was in my head and living my life. When she explained that an urge was a habit that was formed over time and was breakable I listened. She explained tactical steps to stop and you what it worked. I signed up for her 30 min free consult as well as her 7 session program and I no longer binge in front of the TV at 8pm at night. I feel I still have a long ways to go but for the first time in my life I feel like she has taught me tools to understand why I do what I do and how to control it and ultimately it will subside completely. She is smart, encouraging, funny, supportive and she really knows what she is talking about. I wish I listened to this pod cast 40 years ago! Mary S
