My fav running podcast
The thing that sets Jason apart from many other podcast hosts is that he sets his ego aside during interviews. I’m sure he knows many of the answers to the questions he’s asking his guests, but he does a good job of putting himself in the place of the listener and doesn’t waste time by just having a meandering bro-y gab fest about their glory years (there’s still a pleasant amount of anecdotes but they serve a purpose and don’t stretch on and on). There’s a good density of actually useful information. He also doesn’t ‘talk down’ to the listener; if there’s nuances in training approaches, he doesn’t paint it as fully wrong/right just to assert his own hot take. Five stars.
