“The Podcast for all its bad ideas and opinions -- no one can believe that Sonny Bunch and Victorino believe all the things they say that are so wrong. But the worst is JVL. He has the Bulwark Brain Worms, to be fair, he always had. For a supposedly Trad Catholic, his veniality knows no bounds and his absolute lack of any perspective is demonstrated not just on the bilge posted on the Bulwark, but his actual embracing of all veniality that anyone could come up with and just being plain catty and nasty. It's an almost great podcast, but JVL's insistence on why he's so great all the time is just tiresome. Even if JVL is as great and has as many wonderful venial desires that he gets to indulge as he says he does, who cares? At best he's a bore, if someone really believes in Catholic teaching, there might be some motes in his eyes. It makes the Podcast horrible. Read this out on air boys!”Read full review »
