Dull
I approached this with huge hope, being a Christie fanatic and otherwise a big fan of Dr Mark (which won’t change). However, I find myself asking what is the point of this podcast. It’s very well researched but it’s much more just a podcast examining social and cultural trends in the 60s with a Christie theme painted on top presumably to make it “sell”. The presentation is rather dull and the episodes too long to keep attention - when Kemper Donovan does a long episode on AAA I’m enthralled, as he’s an entertaining and outwardly engaging rather than lecturing host. Here, not so much. I especially find those bits with the zippy sound where they explain each title they mention beyond irritating - why??
