Such an interesting angle to look back at cultural history. Keeping making more like it please!

Absolutely loved your episode on Fashion. Not only detailed and interesting but sounded like a lot of research went into this pod as well. Delightful time spent listening to this Christie podcast. Now I must listen to all the previous episodes. It has been added to my list of must-listen-to...Read full review »

I approached this with huge hope, being a Christie fanatic and otherwise a big fan of Dr Mark (which won’t change). However, I find myself asking what is the point of this podcast. It’s very well researched but it’s much more just a podcast examining social and cultural trends in the 60s with a...Read full review »

Meticulously researched, thoughtfully contextualised and both amusing and informative. Whilst no spring chicken come the 1960s, Dame Christie was by no means the Victorian schoolmarm as which she is often characterised. Mark and Grey also make for great hosts! 👏🏻

A well researched and thought out podcast which looks at how Agatha Christie (in her fictional works, notes and contemporary interviews) describes and viewed the cultural milieu of the 1960s in the UK. A must listen to almost as soon as it appears.

Only one episode in and this is already one of my favorite podcasts. Mark and Gray are the perfect podcast co-hosts; They are smart, funny and have voices and accents that are easy on the ears. I’d say this podcast is primarily for Christie fans, but they do make it accessible for those who are...Read full review »

Some of my favorite books of Christie’s come from this period and it’s really great to have them talked about in the...Read full review »

After hearing him in person at the Torquay Agatha Christie festival two years in a row and enjoying him as an author I was eager to hear the podcast… such fun! His boundless knowledge of Christie’s works reflects a respect for her skills and her sense of humour, particularly seen in this podcast....Read full review »

Another excellent addition to the AC collection. Shows a different aspect of the Christie stable.

This podcast is good. So good. It hits the sweet sport of combining a „chatty“ format between 2 friends and dealing less with plot (as „all about Agatha“ does) but rather looking at the setting, the mood and time context of both the books & films…and indeed how contemporary Christie was in...Read full review »
