“Using my best to be open minded, but this just lacked the magic of the old Talk Show. John seemed as if he felt a bit pressured to dictate pace, which isn't his strong suit. I'm not extremely familiar with Moltz, just started following his blog. Him and John seem to have a good friendship, but it didn't equate to great podcast chemistry.
I hope John can find a more permanent co-host (not looking forward to the idea of ever-changing co-hosts or the idea of Gruber interviewing people) that can direct John better through the show. Gruber has brilliant opinions on Apple, but he seems best suited when someone else is dictating pace (and reading the promo spots. John, I love your work, but those were hard to listen to).”Read full review »
