Description
We all know Simone Biles has decided to withdraw from the Tokyo Olympics, and today, as a therapist, I'm sharing my reaction along with info on Simone's journey in life, career explained, and how she has continued to overcome. Simone has been vocal about her mental health journey, paving a path to continue to destigmatize mental health.    Also discussed is information on the athlete mindset, high potential personalities, how identity can become engrained, and why mental health advocacy is so important. Simone Biles is a person who has demonstrated choosing to honor her mental health through withdrawing from the Olympics, and a lot can be learned from her! I'm breaking down some key moments in her past that may have led her to this decision in addition to talking all about what a high potential personality type is, and how Simon Biles is creating mental health awareness for us all. Life can be stressful. Being an Olympian carries great pressure with it. Combine it all with being in the spotlight and stress can be compounded! Cheers to Simone for her bravery. #mentalhealthishealth #takecareofyou WATCH THE VIDEO on Youtube!: https://youtu.be/POeXTkJ5cbk Want more or to connect for guest appearances, media interviews, or to work with Rachel Ann? ⠀ Follow on Instagram: www.instagram.com/rachelanndinecounseling ⠀ E-mail: [email protected] ⠀ DISCLAIMER: The information provided IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT STRUCTURED IN A WAY TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING/PSYCHOTHERAPY/ THERAPY/DIAGNOSING OF ANY KIND.
