“For anyone stumbling across this review looking for good Tolkien podcasts, you will not be disappointed with this feed. It's not only Cory Olsen's college lectures, which are great in themselves, but also a collection of commentaries, speculations, and discussions featuring some of Cory's friends and fellow Tolkien enthusiasts. Some of the podcasts are on the long side, but definitely worth listening to, if you have the time. The podcast also touches on non-directly-Tolkien-related subject matter such as medieval literature, which was of particular interest to Tolkien, and is of course something Cory is into as well.”

“Either if you have read Tolkien a hundred times or none at all you will surely find these episodes both illuminating and enjoyable. Don't hesitate to listen at least to the first episode to hear some of the unusual but remarkable ideas Tolkier had about the "story-telling" job.”
