Audio gems
The premise of this series is as simple (and sincere) as a college arts project but the length of time taken on each story raises them above amateur into really affecting, genuine portraits of people. A number of episodes brought me to the verge of tears, (although I think the intimacy of hearing other people's stories directly through headphones helps to give them impact). There are some truly wonderful moments in these vignettes of British life. I will echo other reviewers' sentiments about the too quiet audio, (it's hard to hear in a city), but aside from that they're lovely.Read full review »

Excellent podcast. Many varied subjects some of which may not initially attract the listener, but each has ended up being a compelling listen. Particularly enjoyed the dementia & farming episodes. Hope there will be more to follow
