Dylan has a knack for casual, fluid, gab that draws the story out of his guests and brings attention to the person behind the athlete. His genuine enthusiasm, depth of knowledge, and natural skills as an interviewer make it a listen I keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

The FreeTrail Pod is one of the best not only trail running based shows, but one of my favorite podcasts in any subject matter. Dylan is clearly such an impressive athlete (and person), this show is an information farm for me that I learn something from every time I tap in. I walk away inspired....Read full review »

Thanks for the great podcasts- love the honesty and insight into how things are in trail running. I found the trail running world following Heather Jackson and Lucy Bartholomew. I have spent hours on the indoor bike trainer watching live streams on the laptop. This led me to freetrail! The...Read full review »

I’ve listened to pretty much every episode of every podcast in the Freetrail network but was really disappointed to see a recent guest platformed who goes against the ethos of the sport. Maybe it was worth it to sell some pairs of blood splattered shoes.

Love their coverage of big events and their wide range of guests. Subtracted one star because I don’t like hearing about building a media business.

Not sure why we needed to hear from Mr Machismo himself Cam Hanes. Hard pass for me on that gun-loving conservative. Dude makes David Goggins look like a yoga instructor. He described his life goal on his website as becoming “the ultimate predator.” Just glance at his merch store: all about his...Read full review »

Excellent coverage, reporting, comments, etc….all week. And on You Tube as well. As a French speaking fan of your show, I have to correct you (and most English speaking people). I enjoy the podcast from time to time but it’s hard to find a lot of it relatable. There isn’t a ton of diversity in guests (it’s mostly elite runners who have it all) and at times some it just comes across boastful. I still follow though.

Freetrail has grown on me over the last several months. Right out of the gate, I enjoyed it, but wasn’t gripped by it. Dylan is so low-key and the vibe so relaxed it didn’t grip me during my first few listens. But after a while I came to really appreciate how thoughtful Dylan is and what a...Read full review »

Stumbled on this amazing podcast. The host (Dylan or DBo) is a great communicator and finds really interesting guests. Nothing annoying and no wasting time. It’s really broadened my horizons while still being (mostly) focused on trail running.
