They're obviously knowledgeable, but don't knock their listeners and guests over the head with it, and they ask questions, shut up, and then actually let their expert guests answer. They respect each others' points of view but poke fun relentlessly. They are the Canadians that all Americans would love to drink whiskey with. Maybe not all Americans.
