Auntie Dr. Joy!
I absolutely LOVE this podcast! As a doctoral student in counselor education, I am always looking for resources about counseling and mental health with Black girls/women. I feel so at home with Dr. Joy and anticipate her sessions every week! Her southern charm makes me feel like she's also my auntie, so I call her "auntie Dr. Joy" in my head. She is everything that I would look for in a counselor and I finally feel like I have a (podcast) mentor and model for what counseling looks like for Black girls/women!Read full review »
