“Hey Jeff, thank you for making your entrance into the pod world. I’ve been following you on instagram for a little while, and as someone who is between therapists right now, I know I’d like to have a therapist like you. Your radical acceptance and turn of phrase along with soothing voice inspires a confidence in me that I haven’t received from other therapists thus far. You’re so relatable. I really understand the way you explained how relationship break up grief feels in the body - I felt it just over 2 months ago, and I was the one who ended it too. That being said, unfortunately the energy of your co-host Sarah, in my opinion, doesn’t suit yours. Obviously, this isn’t taking any value away from Sarah, but the soft and calming voice and energy you have is almost… lost… it’s such a gift when it comes to podcasting. There are some podcasts I listen to (ahem, 99pi, Roman Mars) where I’m there just as much for the hosts voice and energy as I am the content. My suggestion would be to be the sole host, or, if you, Sarah, could potentially modulate your voice to match Jeff’s more gentle tone. I’ve got to be honest, I almost can’t listen to it as it is 😿 If you’re the sole host, Jeff, it would be nice for you to have guests on and talk about these topics, or even have chats with people who want to tell their story. Sorry for the long message! I just know how much potential this show has.
