“this podcast is wonderful already. I just found it for the first time today, but I felt compelled to leave a review after listening to the jon romano episode (‘what would you do if you walked into your high school with a shotgun?’). listening to jon brought me to tears multiple times throughout his episode, his voice and his way of telling his story was captivating and left me feeling as though I was living through every emotion in his voice and his words with him. I felt heartbroken for him and the hardships he’s faced, both before and after what he did. his openness about sexual abuse, depression, and suicidal thoughts was very raw and his advocacy for therapy and mental health awareness is so important. “healed people heal people” was a beautiful message.
I can’t wait to listen even further into this podcast, all of the episodes I’ve heard so far have been great.”
