A great podcast, with two little annoyances.
Excellent podcast, now that Kirsten is back. While she was remote, it was difficult to listen because of technical issues. I've heard a few podcasts where co-hosts were able to seemlessly record from remote locations, and this wasn't one of them. I think a better technical hook-up between NY and CA would have made all the difference. That being said, I do appreciate the effort that it took to keep the thing running, and I'm very glad things are back to normal. The second annoyance is the name "- This Week in Scence - ..." Is the leading hyphen really necessary? It's very spammy, and clearly designed to put the podcast at the top of the sorted list. Like "A Able Towing Company" in the Yellow Pages, it smacks of smarmy, unoriginal, and unnecessary gimmicks. It's not the only podcast to do this, but it is the only podcast that I listen to that does this. Of course, it's all about me, and my podcasting listener needs - I am that shallow. In anticipation of responses to this post - I will concede that yes, I do need to get a life.Read full review »

Always informative, occasionally funny, but never boring. Consider me a TWIS minion.
