Episode 877 was going great until there was a doritos ad right after he spoke about an example of snacking being an issue and identifying triggers. Out of all the products in the world that they could advertise, they chose doritos? Not very helpful at all

This breaks some big ideas down down so they actually feel like I can use them in my own life. Really insightful and encouraging. Plus, the host has a very calming voice!

He goes on and on about being anti-capitalist, but roughly a third or more of every episode is commercials so it’s tiny little things mostly commercials

This podcast gives great information to help maximize your life; however, the podcast is “dry” and boring. Gregg is also very verbose and tends to talk in circles. Despite the negatives, this podcast will help you live a better more productive life. UPDATE: I’ve listened since the early days....Read full review »

I have subscribed to and loved this show for a couple of years. A recent podcast wandered into the political sphere and gave expression of opinion and the plea for others to understand and share a perspective. That was fine. However, Clunis was insulting and berating to those who might disagree....Read full review »

I think this podcasts strengths are that the length of time makes it super digestible for a variety of activities or routines you’re doing while listening. Oftentimes on longer podcasts I struggle with retention because it’s hard to keep some focus on the audio for a full half hour or more. These...Read full review »

I use to like this podcast until he went off on his obscenity laced abortion rant. If I want to listen to politics, I’ll listen to those podcasts. I don’t really care about abortion one way or the other.

I love how this podcast is to the point and has short episodes. The narrator puts across his thoughts in a cogent and clear way. Great mental practices to help you navigate through life. Greg is a modern day Buddha lol.

I love the topics and advice, but the reason poor pronunciation irritates me. I’m listening to the How to Solve Your Problem While You Dream and any “-ing” word is “-in’.” Dreamin’, Improvin’, Readin’, etc. It’s just hard to not focus on and doesn’t come across professionally.

As a person who is not exactly practical all the time, I appreciate Gregg’s practical nature. He suggests practical applications to help change your life in manageable ways. I am always striving to be a better version of myself. I appreciate others who do the same. Highly recommend!!

I wanted to like this show. I listened to a couple episodes and thought it was ok, then I got to the “This is Why You Aren’t Happy” episode and unsubscribed. I really wanted to like this podcast, but it’s typically 9 minutes of ads and 4 minutes of content (just an example, but ya get the point). I had high hopes for this podcast, but the content just isn’t worth the ads.

Ads
Unfortunately this podcast is half ads half content. He makes some good points on various topics, but when I’m driving to work, I don’t want to fall asleep listening to someone promote things and try to get money out of me. I listen to quite a few self help podcasts and this may be the best. It covers a lot of the material that others do much faster.
