You don’t need to get anything fancy, but at least make sure there isn’t any background noise. Hearing phones, doors, and such is rather distracting and unprofessional.

The intro says it all, this is brass tacks, no frills presentation of expert insight and (to a lesser extent) relevant literature. And the audio quality is terrible. This podcast has a ton of potential, but what it lacks is a conversational, entertaining tone. The content is great but the interviewers are almost robotic in their stiffness. I’d much rather hear a conversation between interviewer and interviewee than hear the interviewer just list off questions...Read full review »

This is very much worth a listen. Dr. Sarani is an important trauma critical care surgeon from the University of Pennsylvania. He is amazing on the podcast, and it is highly informative. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
