When I started running last year I got pretty zealous and I binged a LOT of running podcasts. So trust me when I say this is one of the best you can find. The co-hosts provided evidence-based and thorough information on each episode’s topic, and most impressively, they do that while making a...Read full review »

Currently binge listening to it and finally getting so much good advice for how to run and not get injured or burned out! This is all amazing stuff I never knew. I would love more info on 5ks and shorter distances since I feel this is mostly geared toward marathoners. I have trained and raced...Read full review »

I have received Laura’s informative emails for some time so I was really excited about this podcast - it does NOT disappoint! Factual data + no gimmicks or fads = perfection. My only constructive feedback is if I hear “uh-hundred percent” one more time, I’m going to tab myself in the eye. It’s...Read full review »

Of all the running podcasts I listen to, this is the most inclusive of runners in perimenopause/menopause, chronic issues like POTS or long Covid or hypermobility, runners of various abilities. I am a health care provider so I’m picky about science and theirs is on point. Highly recommended.

So much great info, but sorry to say that the sound mix between Amanda and Laura needs help. Laura sound is normal and Amanda’s sound is at a much lower level and sounds like she is in a box. Makes a bit of difference enjoying the podcast on run. Fingers crossed it’s a simple fix.

I listen to a LOT of running podcasts and this is the best by far in presenting valuable information that you can trust. There’s never a time where I fear that they’re using “bro-science.” Rather, I believe that you can trust the advice that Laura and Amanda provide whether it’s training,...Read full review »

My brother and my dad always called themselves runners. They do triathlons, run marathons, compete, and do Iron Man‘s. I did cross country in high school for two years and didn’t like it. Why would I run too? But now, in my 30s, I found that running is a way to cope with the stress of life,...Read full review »

I happened to find this running podcast and I love it. Here are all the reasons why: - A quick start: They get straight to the week’s theme. So many podcasts don’t get into the actual topic until five or 10 minutes into the episode. Laura and Amanda don’t waste your time with that! - Length of...Read full review »

I turned 40 this year and I noticed I needed to make a big difference in my training. I’ve been running since my 20s. This year has been about education. I live in Texas, and Summer 2023 has been brutal. I run at 5 am and still see temps in the 90’s with high humidity. Through this podcast and...Read full review »

Terrific podcast. A lot of running podcasts are geared too much towards elite or sub elite runners. Laura and Amanda are two of my favorite running gurus, and I love the convenience of podcasts. They offer practical advice, which is helpful, but also explain the (often scientifically-backed) “why” behind the advice, which helps it stick better. THANK YOU for this podcast! Keep ‘em coming!

I’ve followed Amanda Brooks for ages, and loved her book, so you’d think I’d know most of what she has to say already - but only 8 minutes in to the zone 2 episode, I’ve already learned a LOT!! So excited for this collab - feels like I’m having a conversation with two girlfriends.
