“Do NOT pass on listening to this podcast! I know there are only 2 episodes so far and only a few reviews, but it's really good right from the very start.....no "learning curve" needed from the host.
I never write reviews, but I was so impressed after only two episodes. Anyone who enjoys true crime podcasts should definietly add this one to their line-up.
The host Melissa sounds very comfortable behind a mic as if she already has broadcasting or public speaking experience. Without a long intro of "stops and starts", ads, etc I became interested in the story right away. It's obvious she is quite knowledgable about the cases so when combined with her plesant voice she conveys this information well to the listener. Her first-hand knowledge and clear explanations offer unique cultural insights into these cases as well. Because she is drawing on events from outside the US there was an added bonus that I learned some interesting cultural things as well.”Read full review »
