True Crime, Plus
I enjoyed this one-person podcast a lot -- I binge-listened to all the episodes to date. It is very well-produced, with great research and great delivery. What makes it exceptional is the way she satisfiees the True Crime genre and then uses it to comment on enculturated ethnic narratives. She's very good at it, even if she does repeat a few basic themes over and over. The real goal isn't to solve true crimes -- it's to get people examining their media-created assumptions. It might be achieved even better if she discussed the cases with someone, maybe a partner as in Radiolab, Reply All, Immigration Nation and many others.Read full review »

More reviews of True Crime Asia
This podcast became a favorite of mine right when it started - I'm so glad the host decided to come back after a break. The podcast covers cases from the Asian continent that I have not heard of before, and also touches on some social issues. Would totally recommend for any true crime fan!
