keep it genuine and keep us in suspense!
I enjoy the episodes that consist of newspaper articles but the "pulp fiction" ones are very hit or miss. Also I've noticed a pattern of giving away the goods in the opening. Just because this is history doesn't mean the audience is familiar with the details of each case upfront. How about keeping up the mystery instead of giving away either the perpetrator ("Lizzy Gillespie Killed By Twin Brother," "The Poison Pastor"), the method ("Purcell Nicotine Poison Puzzle"), or the motive ("White Slavery Suicide Pact") past the title or immediate intro, just to offer a few examples? Thanks for your consideration. PS: I don't share the obsession with gangsters, fwiw.Read full review »

The stories of these crimes is not only fascinating, but is like being able to travel back to the past. The hosts asks the authors thoughtful well prepared questions and the authors share the stories with the best details.
