charming and interesting
Two charming hosts who tell stories they think will interest the other (and us). They are friends and it shows in their easy, comfortable manner and their genuine affection for each other. There is none of the poking "fun" of their co-hosts that some podcasters feel gives their shows an edge but can make them so unpleasant to hear. The stories are well chosen, different than the usual fare, and the story tellers have lovely voices. Very happy that they have decided to podcast.Read full review »

Well researched, and not overproduced. Makes an enjoyable listen especially the two story format and unpredictability from week to week, covering some high-profile cases and others that were high-profile but long since forgotten. Genuinely engaging, thanks, Simon M

I’ve found a lot of British podcasts are trying to be something they’re not. This podcast is genuine and you can tell both hosts genuinely have interest in true crime and their cases. Keep the good work up, I really enjoy the pub vibes 🍺

I really like this podcast. But I do sometimes find it hard to follow the stories being told. I think a lack of planning and structure often leaves me confused about the facts and characters involved.
