and am interested in the u.k., (NOT the royal family) but this guy thinks he’s clever, cute and funny…sadly, he’s none of these things…i thought we had all the idiots here in the u.s….i was wrong…you have this guy…

I’m loathe to leave a harsh review; I know the podcaster is an amateur, but even so, this is not good. He’s clearly reading from a script. He’s not a good speaker; there’s no sense of a tense build-up to a horrifying climax. It’s a monotone voice all the way through. I listened to one episode...Read full review »

I’ve listened from the beginning and it’s great, having got my ears round the presentation style. Only gripe is the volume. It’s always very quiet compared to all other podcasts. So when an episode finishes everything else is deafeningly loud.

Adam is a great storyteller, my husband & I love the month & year game! Well researched & well told. Thank you to all involved who put together this podcast. We look forward to the next podcast & hope to see you at Crime Con in London this year!

I am sad to say I will now unfollow you. I’m not from Uk and your info grabs go on for way too long re things I dont know anything abt while the crime stories are getting shorter all the time.

The presenter Adam seems like a good guy, but the podcast sounds like he’s just reading out the Wikipedia articles for each crime. There’s no atmosphere, no tension, no creepy/scary moments. If you’re looking for something like Casefile, keep looking. If you’re new to true crime podcasts, skip...Read full review »

Adam, you do a really great job. Love the guess the month and year. First podcast I found to listen to years ago and I love it.

Great podcast, easy to listen along to. Some people say the jokes and song references are not needed but i disagree. It adds a bit of personality to the podcast. Keep up the great work adam.

An enjoyable podcast . The episodes seem to be well researched . I have rattled them off after finding the podcast a few months ago . Adam has a nice voice and I like the conversational style of presentation , along with the length of the episodes . There are editing errors , especially in the...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to Adam for a few years now and have loved every episode. The attention to detail is second to none. Always a great episode!

Well researched and summarised stories, but just not the right voice for me to listen to - for the same reason I don’t like audio books, I need my podcasts to be more conversational rather than someone reading in the same tone to me.
archaeosarah via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/05/24
I started from the beginning and at ep 86 I like Adam’s voice and find the stories interesting and often haven't heard of them before The jokes and football stuff aside I do find it a little jarring that he can make disparaging comments about artists and tv shows at the start of a show and...Read full review »

Taking a break from this one. I’m not a big fan of listening to victim statements. They are personal accounts that were written for the judge and jury. I’d be devastated if a podcaster published my vs verbatim. I don’t need to listen to all that very private, distressed info. I also struggle...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while now and think it’s brilliant. Adam’s voice is very soothing and he articulates the story/case well.

Listened to a few podcasts but gave up. Seems to whittle about nonsense stuff and far too much advertising. Last podcast which I gave up on was right at the start. 6 minutes of him pushing sponsors was too much.

I love listening to this podcast. Always starts with a bit of music history, which I enjoy because it reminds me of where I was at the time. Well researched and doesn’t drag out. Well worth listening to.

Been listening to Adam podcast for well over a year, still trying to get through the back catalog! Love the way he narrates it, he has a calm and soothing voice, episodes are about 30-40 mins long, keep up the good work.

Not enough substance in these short stories. I find there to be a huge lack of detail and I’m not enjoying the way the stories are being told. I’m a true crime nut but this one’s a no from me.

Good show but too much time talking about other things which are dragged out. Episodes are short and this time could be used to give more detail on the episode and not what’s going on in the world.

I listen to this podcast every week without fail. Adams hosting is welcoming and friendly and I like the format. 5 stars from me!! ‘DESPITE THE OTHERS, STAY CLASSY’. 🙂

Well worth a subscribe. Lots of interesting ‘stories’ and covers a lot of the less famous cases. Adam is sympathetic to the victims and their families, which is refreshing. Thanks Adam. Keep up the good work.

This is the favourite of about 4/5 podcasts my husband and I listen to going to bed. In fact it’s his top favourite. Enjoy the style and presentation. Wish it was twice weekly! Stay classy Adam

Just right pace /tone /level - can't wait for each weekly episode! Empathy for the victims. Really good podcast. Adam is great - love it that he giggles at his own jokes: my sense of humour too. Wish I had spare cash to support - thanks :-)Read full review »

Currently binge listening. I look forward to hearing this pod everyday. Love it! Edited:I’m 336 episodes in and sad as I’m slowly closing in on listening to them all. 🤦‍♀️

Awful - sounds like someone being forced to read out loud at school against their will! The opposite of engaging. Sorry, but don’t waste your time.

While I love the whole guess the year bit, I'm sick of hearing you say "nope, me neither" every single time to mention the Australian top album of that particular time. These are often cases which I can’t recall, and this is interesting to me; not just the same ‘popular / famous’ cases being retold. The host has created content, which relates to the different aspects of the crime, this proving the research conducted. There may be issues with certain elements of...Read full review »

I can usually tell if I’m going to like a podcast or not. Some start a bit rough but as the host gains confidence, they improve. Adam is a joy right from the get go listen to. As an avid watcher of true crime on TV, I usually listen to podcasts during the day when I’m working but have never listened to any crime podcasts.
