The court, still without jurors, went over the alleged financial crimes of Alex Murdaugh, including his connections with Palmetto state bank and the possible embezzlement of money from his law clients. Whether or not this evidence can be used in the double murder trial as character evidence is still to be seen. But jurors were allowed back in to hear further testimony from law enforcement.
